Part of our dream with Recovery RX was to have a gym, where we could rebuild physically in recovery through activity and community. As commercial real estate has continued to prove a difficult nut to crack, we have pivoted in a couple ways. First, the Recovery RX board decided to bring our longer-term goal of our own Recovery Living Home into existence ahead of the gym. We are working toward appropriate licensing and fundraising this year to be ready to go by the start of 2024, if not sooner.
And the second pivot came by bringing the gym, workouts, and community to everyone everywhere by launching my coaching program through the Mighty Networks platform. Pulling from my 20 years as a tactical athlete and coach, I have created a program to not only help firefighters, cops, and military service members, but also those who are just starting a fitness journey, or those in who are in recovery from the damage drugs and alcohol do to the body. Wherever you are in your journey, I can create a plan to help you achieve the best version of yourself.
You can join this online fitness community, Hard Luck Athletics, by clicking here. My workouts are innovative and challenging, but also absolutely achievable at every fitness level because I believe so strongly in the beneficial tie between exercise and every form of recovery under the sun. So, if you can’t join us in person for one of our workouts, I hope I get to see you in our online fitness community. If you have questions, please shoot me an email.
