September has been a month overflowing with connection, community, and impact, and it’s all because of your continued support. Together, we are showing what recovery looks like when hope and action come together.

Community Highlights

🌟 Epic Rally for Recovery

We connected with so many in our community at the Epic Rally for Recovery. Events like this remind us that recovery is about more than healing; it’s about hope, connection, and walking the journey together.

🌟Sharing Our Mission

Chad and Meredith had the opportunity to share about Recovery RX and Comeback Recovery Homes with the St. Augustine Sunrise Rotary Club. It was a truly blessed morning filled with new relationships, offers of support, and powerful community connections.

🌟 Foundations to Freedom Vendor Fair

We also spent time in DeLand at the Foundations to Freedom Vendor Fair, making new connections and getting our name out there in Central Florida as we continue to grow and serve.

- Bear the Burden 2025 – What a Day!

On September 13th, our community showed up strong at EGH Fitness Center in Ocala for this special event hosted by Marion County Fire Rescue. From the squat rack to the deadlift platform, lifters of every level came together for more than just the Big 3; they came to stand for something bigger.

Together, we raised over $5,100 to support mental health and addiction recovery. Every rep, every cheer, and every moment reminded us that this isn’t just about lifting weights, it’s about lifting one another up, honoring those who carry unseen burdens, and proving no one has to walk this journey alone.

We’re so grateful to everyone who competed, volunteered, sponsored, and came out to celebrate. This event was more than a competition; it was a movement!

Fundraising Highlight- Jax 4x4x48 with CrossFit 904

Another incredible community event! Together, we raised over $6,000. Huge thanks to our sponsors Jim and Jeanie Jacobson, HBC Construction, Zaxby’s (for donating lunch), and of course CrossFit 904 and the Klingers, Chad Nordstrom, Michael Walker, and every single caring person who shared their gym and hearts with us.

Special thanks also to the Ponte Vedra Ruck Club and Mike Schroder, who showed up in massive numbers.

With nearly 100 people throughout the weekend, the impact of this event is still being felt!

Looking Ahead: Scars Under the Stars 2025

This year, we’ve witnessed incredible growth. The D. McDougal House, which opened in January 2025, is full of ten men actively building new lives in recovery through faith, structure, and community. What began with prayer and perseverance has become a place of healing and hope.

Now, we’re answering the next call: to open a women’s recovery home in 2026 and expand scholarships that provide treatment, housing, workshops, and fitness programs for those rebuilding their lives.

Join us for our biggest night of the year — Scars Under the Stars 2025 — and help make it happen.

When: Thursday, October 16, 2025 | 6–9 PM

Where: The Tringali Barn | St. Augustine, FL

Goal: Raise $100,000 for recovery housing and scholarships
