Welcome to the Team!
Recovery RX and Comeback Recovery Homes are thrilled to welcome two powerhouse women to our team this month! Please join us in celebrating the arrival of Pam Dent, our new Development and Outreach Manager, and Shawne Scott, our new Media and Marketing Manager. Each brings unique strengths, lived experiences, and heartfelt dedication to our mission, and we couldn’t be more excited to have them.

Welcome, Pam Dent!
Development and Outreach Manager
Pam will play a vital role in growing census for Comeback Recovery Homes and supporting Recovery RX’s mission to assist individuals struggling with substance use disorder. She is responsible for overseeing outreach and business development efforts, managing administrative tasks, and coordinating volunteers to ensure smooth operations and successful community engagement.
About Pam: With over 20 years of experience leading both for-profit and nonprofit organizations, she brings a strong background in leadership, strategic planning, and community engagement. Since 2015, she's been dedicated to serving the recovery community—a passion that continues to guide her work.
She thrives on building meaningful relationships and connecting individuals with the resources they need. She sees value in even the smallest interactions with others, believing they can grow trust, healing, and opportunity. She is committed to lifelong learning, mental health advocacy, and empowering others on their journey of recovery and wellness. Her goal is to create a lasting impact through compassionate service and collaboration.
Pam is blessed to live on a small farm in Jacksonville and spends her free time with family, horses, and baby goats.

Welcome, Shawne Scott!
Media and Marketing Manager
Shawne will play a key role in advancing the mission and visibility of the Recovery RX and Comeback Recovery Homes organizations through strategic communication, storytelling, and outreach.
About Shawne: Behind Shawne’s career is a personal story rooted in resilience, faith, and deep community ties. Her father, a single parent, third-shift newspaper carrier, and proud constable for York County, SC, was tragically killed in a random act of violence in 2017. His life of quiet service and strength inspires Shawne daily to carry forward a mission greater than herself. In her grief, she found unexpected purpose and community, leading her to ruck 100 miles with the End of Watch Foundation in his memory and to dedicate her life to serving others.
With a strong background in fitness and a heart anchored in faith, Shawne believes there is always room for “one more” to find hope and healing. She brings warmth, empathy, and genuine connection to everything she does.
At Recovery RX and Comeback, Shawne uses storytelling and events to build community, inspire courage, and support individuals on their recovery journeys, reminding everyone that no one walks alone and every step forward matters.
