Please help us send a warm welcome to Everett Wells, the newest team member for Recovery RX and Comeback Recovery Homes. Everett is the House Manager for our first men's home, set to open next month. He will be responsible for living in the home to build the culture of the home, while maintaining a supportive and structured environment, assisting residents in their recovery journey, and upholding the house motto and values. We felt very strongly after our first conversation with Everett, that he was our guy. He is on fire to share the gift of sobriety with as many people as he can. We are honored that he is joining our team!
Born and raised in Denver Colorado, Everett enjoyed a 25-year career as Executive Chef in the hotel industry. This challenging profession led him to the ocean, and the “Land of Aloha”, Hawaii. There, he learned from his mentors the fundamentals of French Cuisine, his greatest passion. Chef life has taken him to exciting destinations, and the chance to work with some of the best chefs in the world.
After long suffering in active addiction, Everett finally found his light through sponsorship and the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. He believes strongly that if this worked for him, it could work for anyone. Everett knows that for him to keep this “Greatest Gift “, he will undoubtedly have to give it away to others in seemingly hopeless predicaments. He says it is his extraordinary honor to do so.
