So many ways to come and play with us at these upcoming events!

Runners at 2023's Jax 4x4x48

We’ve got a lot going on over the next few months and we want to invite each of you to any and all of our upcoming events!

A couple weeks ago, we were invited to participate and speak about our organization at the Shoreline Shake-up in Butler Beach. We made a lot of new friends and connections, as well as raised $1000 that we are immediately using on a current sponsee. Big thank you to Flourish with Jenny and 904 Lads for the opportunity to participate!

Up next is one of our bread and butter, monthly workouts. Sober Saturday Yoga will take place in downtown St. Augustine at Trinity Parish on 8/17 at 10am. We also now have an office space! Trinity Parish has opened their doors to us with a space we can call our very own.

For the second year in a row, in a three-way collaboration, Misfit Charities, CrossFit 904, and Recovery RX are putting on our version of the Goggins 4x4x48, aptly named: Jax 4x4x48. Last year we raised nearly $4000! Registration is now open on our website. Registration gets you the ability to come and go as you please and an event t-shirt. We will run 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours to spread the word about addiction recovery and Recovery RX’s programs for those in early recovery. If running isn’t your thing, every 4 hours there will also be a WOD, and you can walk or ruck the 4 miles too. There will be food trucks, homemade meals, yoga, at least one meeting, a raffle, on-site camping, and lots of other fun stuff. It was such a celebration of friendship and support last year and we expect just the same this year.

Our second annual major fundraiser, Scars Under the Stars, will take place on 10/24 at the Tringali Barn from 6-9pm. Tickets and sponsorships are available now on our website. Get your tickets and tables early. They go fast! We will have live music, a photo booth, inspiring stories from those who have been through recovery and those who have gone through our program, silent (and maybe live) auctions, and yummy food. We had over 100 people in attendance last year and raised $150,000, which we are using to open our men’s house in October/November this year. Let’s see if we can beat that this year, as our focus is opening a women’s house in 2025!

Once we have our official open date for the men’s house this year, we will also have an open house celebration. Date TBD, but yes, you will be invited!
